(CHSA) is a local housing organization through which individuals, families, businesses, and charities support housing that is affordable in our community.  CHSA, a nonprofit Georgia corporation classified as a Section 501(c)(3) public charity by the IRS, invests in solutions to the area's housing challenges.  Your donation is tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.  Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated.

FINANCING FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING

CHSA helps nonprofits, local government agencies, and private developers to create affordable housing in Chatham County by providing short-term and long-term loans.

 

NEIGHBORHOOD REVITALIZATION
CHSA collaborates with homebuyers, homeowners, property owners, local non-profit organizations, government, and developers to provide financing opportunities that produce and preserve affordable housing.

INFILL HOUSING PROGRAM

Loan applications are often difficult for small and minority-owned businesses to secure. The CHSA Infill Housing Program provides flexible terms and reduced costs for businesses seeking to develop affordable housing.

HOMEOWNERSHIP RESOURCES AND SUPPORT

To increase the number of owner-occupied homes in Chatham County, CHSA provides technical support and referrals to potential homeowners in Chatham County, including:
- mortgage application support
- down payment programs
- secondary (gap) financing
- home buyer education courses
